He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Bruce and Vermell Bruce (Boykin); his grandson Shane Thomas A. Bruce; and his siblings, James "Jimmie" Bruce, Ronnie "Sunshine" Bruce and JoAnn Bartholomew (Ralph).
He is survived by: his wife Cecilia Bruce (Butler); his brothers, Tony Bruce (Debra) and Wayne Bruce (Eileen); his siblings-in-law, Markus Miller and Heather Mainstone (Jamie); his children, Paul Bruce, Jr., Skylar Thomas Bruce (Kayla), Alexavier Frederick Bruce, Gabriel Blaze Bruce, Candis Marie Ann Evans, Ronni Faith Elizabeth Bruce and Darby Grace Vermell Bruce; his grandchildren, Corban Michael, Kacee Leigh Evans, Andrea Marie Tidwell, Shawn Thomas, Valerie Renesmea Irene Bruce and Chloe Amerie Hayes; and his nieces and nephews, Nevaeh Mainstone, Trinity Miller, Jaden and Gage Mainstone. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to contribute to his children's education.
