Ollie Mae Prater Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ollie Mae Prater of Homer, Michigan, born in Blue River, Kentucky, who passed away on February 12, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Nelson and Lulie Brown; her husband Luster Prater; her son Zandel Prater; and her siblings, Ashland, Martha, Maggie, Stella and Fannie.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Milligan, Randall Prater (April), Irvin Prater (Tamera), Patricia Mann and Mark Prater (Charity); and her grandchildren, Bethany, Zandra, Matthew, Brandon, Shyanna, Ashley, Liana, Tyler, Jordan, Olivia and Katee. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; and all loving family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Vickers Springport Funeral Homes (121 Pearl St, Springport, MI 49284). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Albion Memory Gardens (26905 B-Drive S, Albion, MI 49224).
