With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melvin Wayne O'Dell of Homer, Michigan, who passed away on April 25, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George O'Dell and Margaret O'Dell (Chapman); his wife Winifred "Winnie" O'Dell; and his brothers, Leo O'Dell, Ralph O'Dell and Norman O'Dell.

He is survived by: his children, Jeff O'Dell (Debbie) of Coldwater, MI and Cindy Parrish (Ron) of Fairbury, IL; his grandchildren, Wendy Tackett (Josh), Travis O'Dell (Ashtin), Aaron Parrish and Dustin Parrish; his great grandchildren, Jaiden Tackett, Hailey Tackett, Brooklyn Tackett, Emily O'Dell and Olivia O'Dell; and his sisters, Joyce Coats (Rosemary Elkins) and Bother (Calvin O'Dell).
