She was predeceased by: her parents, Tillman Corbitt and Nattie Corbitt (Shaffer); her husband Floyd G. Prater, Sr.; and her brother Carl Corbitt. She is survived by: her children, Debbie Armstrong (Tom) of Yukon, OK, Floyd Prater Jr. (Pamela) of Marshall, MI, Charles Prater (Denise) of Homer, MI and Brenda Thelen (Tom) of Saint Johns, MI; and her sister Edna Mae Sloan. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Services (303 S Hillsdale St, Homer, MI 49245). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Jackson County Animal Shelter.
