He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley Worthington and Rolene Worthington (Fields); his siblings, Judith Murray and Harley Worthington, Jr.; his brother-in-law Edward Jones; and his grandson Tyler Ball.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Worthington (Semon); his children, Jim Wagner, Miranda Worthington, Melanie Ball (Tracy), Jamie Timmer (Leno), Travis Baker (Becki) and Nathan Baker (Amanda); his stepmother Wanda Worthington; his sister Jeanne Jones; and his nephews, Matt Jones and Brad Jones. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
