He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Proctor and Ruth Proctor (Lucas); his siblings, Betty, Sharon, Sandy and David; his great-niece Janessa Van Wormer; and his grandson John Kaper.
He is survived by: his partner Martisia "Marti" King of Alexandria; his siblings, Karen Carpenter (Bob) of Osseso, MI, Sally Proctor of Homer, MI, Susan Proctor and Jim Proctor (Val) of Quincy, MI; his sons, James Benefiel (Christina) and Christopher Benefiel (Marie); and his brother Jeff King (Butch). He is also survived by Grandchildren and 3 Great-Grandchildren, Many special and much loved nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
