He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clyde Newsome and Fantella Newsome (Burke); his significant other Gail Schermerhorn; his children, Candy Adkins (Scott), Mona Adkins (James) and Gary Alan Newsome (Danielle); his stepsons, Gene Lowe (Meaghan) and Brian Lowe (Jenny); his grandchildren, Brian Lowe, Jr., Georgia Lowe, Savannah Lowe, Maggie Lowe, Megan Adkins and Rosie Newsome; and his pets, Jack and Gracie.
