He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore R. Landis and Juanita M. Landis (Loose); and his brother Daniel "Jay" Landis. He is survived by: his wife Joyce M. Thurston; his children, Lance Landis (Shoni), Neil Landis (Leslie), Grant Landis and Audra Landis; his grandchildren, Téa, Macen, Meadow and Billy; his siblings, Barbara Nichols (Herb) and Lane Landis; and his sister-in-law Barbara Ann Landis.
