He was predeceased by: his parents, Braxton Sr and Effie Thompson Sr. (Fannin); and his brother Connie Lee Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Dolly of Homer; his daughter Donna Wetherington of Florida; and his siblings, Gerleen Stevens of Prestonsburg, Lucy Cornett of Georgetown and Vida Tackett (John) of Prestonsburg. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
