He was predeceased by: his parents, O. L. Herring and Theresa F. Herring (Dore); his sister Darlene Herring; and his stepfather Julius "Jupe" Rottman. He is survived by: his sons, Delbert Pider (Daniella Martinis) of Muskegon and Dwayne Pider (Kimberly); and his siblings, Marcia Herring of Muskegon, Kathy Daniels (Randy) of Hesperia, Sharon Pell (Andy) of Fremont, Barbara Herring of Fremont and William Herring of Holton. He is also survived by 9 nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews.
