She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmaet Walter and Grace Elaine Cooper (Underwood); and her siblings, Janet Grenell, Jackie Vasquez, Evelyn Cooper, Butch Cooper, Dwayne Cooper and Pete Cooper.
She is survived by: her husband Skip Scheel of Holton; her children, Misty Postema (James) of Norton Shores, Scott Eckert of Beaverton, Michigan, Brian Eckert (Angie) of Holton, Dennis Eckert of Muskegon and Peter Eckert of Holton; her stepsons, Steve Scheel of Grand Rapids and Craig Scheel (Beth) of Muskegon; and her sister Sharon Smith (Jerry) of Grand Haven. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
