He was predeceased by: his father Laurence Stone; and his niece Ellen Mae Stone. He is survived by: his mother Phyllis Stone (Ross) of Holton; his siblings, Tammy Jager (Alan), Brian Stone, Melanie Stone (Sandy Higgins) and Kimberly Macy (James); and his close friend Christopher "Night Raven" Ely of Chicago. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
