It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Champion of Holt, Michigan, born in Petoskey, Michigan, who passed away on July 4, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William John Champion and Helen Marie Condon Shellenberger; and his brother-in-law Thomas Shields. He is survived by: his wife LuAnne Marie; his son Michael David Champion (Andrea); his grandchildren, Tyler Hites, Gabriel and Grace; and his siblings, Marguerite, Yvonne, Dwight (NormaJean Tidwell), Candace Shields and Kirk Champion (Karen). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, please bring a dish to pass at the Unity Spiritual Center, 2395 Washington Rd, Lansing, Mi. 48911 for a pot luck luncheon afterwards.
