He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael D. Baird and Lois Baird (Wightman); and his daughter Cassie Baird. He is survived by: his children, Mikaela Fowler-Cantu (Matthew) of Lansing, Alysia Morales (Renzo) of St. Johns, Michael Douglas Baird of Ludington, Chloe Baird of Leslie, Anthony Maurer (Stephanie) of Ludington and Morgan Maurer of Big Rapids; his brother Steven Baird of Lansing; and his uncle Doug Wightman (Pat) of DeWitt. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
