It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael David Lee Laycock (Holt, Michigan), born in Eaton Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on January 26, 2025, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Marietta Schafer; his grandparents, Alberta and George Harris; and his brother-in-law George Musser. He is survived by: his wife Lindsay Laycock (Hulliberger); his children, Ailyn and Jaxon; his stepfather Fran Schafer; his sister Amanda Musser; and his stepsiblings, Kendall Schafer (Rachel), Chris Schafer (Kathy) and Candy Myler (Lance). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM and on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel (2121 N Cedar St, Holt, MI 48842). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
