Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Michael Andres Chavez (Holt, Michigan), born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away at the age of 71, on February 9, 2020. He was predeceased by: his parents, Andres Chavez and Dorothy Chavez; his brothers, Raymond and Joe Chavez; and his brother-in-law Gary Peters.

He is survived by: his godchild German Shepherd; his wife Julie; his godchildren, Jennifer Smith (Eric), Jodie Barnes and Bobbie Jo Odom (Jeremy); his siblings, Andy (Ellen), David (Kelly), Larry, George Chavez, Jeannette Bovensiep and Georgina Werksma (John); and his brothers-in-law, Ron Peters and Chuck Peters (Julie). He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, and extended family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
