She is survived by: her husband Russell Cathey; her daughters, Elizabeth "Betsy" McEwen and Sabrina Cathey; her grandchildren, Noah McEwen and Emily McEwen; and her brother James Lovitt. She is also survived by several brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her church or to the Alzheimer's Association.
