With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John S. Higgins (Holt, Michigan), who passed away on February 10, 2020 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Vivian I. Higgins; his grandfather John Milton Higgins; his wife Lorraine Franzen; his daughters, Marilyn Mannino (Joseph), Diane Edson (Charles), Pamela Ishimoto (Ronald), Jean McLeod (Brian) and Jane Lindsay (Peter); his grandchildren, Miranda, Joseph Mannino, Noel, Jr. Mendes (Cindie), Christopher Mendes (Andrea), Jennifer, Jessica and Jerrilyn McLeod; his great grandchildren, Oliver, Jackson and Vivian Mendes; and his nephew Bobby Hoffman (Mary Jane).
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to a charity of your choice, or the local Michigan Parkinson's awareness program (makingtheturngolf.com) that sponsors a Parkinson's exercise program of which John had participated.
