He was predeceased by: his father John Sam Krohn; and his son Jacob Krohn. He is survived by: his wife Bridget; his children, John Sam Krohn (Kayla) and Michaela Krohn; his stepsons, Jonathan and Adam Bradley; his grandchildren, John Allen Krohn, Eleanor Grace Krohn and Nicholas David Krohn; his mother Geraldine Schultz (Dick); and his siblings, Mike Krohn (Mel), Debbie O'Brien and Cynthia Wilke. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
