He is survived by: his children, Amanda Ries (Brandon), Jenna Ries, Savannah Riddle (Joshua), Parker Ries and Austin Ries; his stepchildren, Brittany Weaver, Tiffany Dymond, Phillip Balk (PJ) and Kerryianne Balk; his grandchild Ayda Jane Riddle; his stepgrandchildren, Tyler Crips, Travis Winters, Brandon Winters, Savannah Bushnell, Nico Patrick, Phillip Balk III, Hannah Balk, Sophia Balk, Alexis Balk and Xander Claxton; and his brothers, Steve Ries, Rick Ries (Debbie), Brad Ries (Tricia), Chris Chelf, Scott Chelf, Paulanne Chelf, Julane Himmelsbach and Linsey Cole.
