He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ray Whitscell and Erma Whitscell (Brandow); his former wife Lela F. Willard; his wife Lela F. Whitscell of Sears; his sister Murna VanHorn; and his children, Lucille Welliver (Brian), Carl Whitscell (Sarah), Elaine Whitscell, Paul Whitscell, Linda Cody (Jerry), Diana Schad (Dale), Sylvia Feldpausch (Roger) and Lydia Davis. He was also cherished by 20 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and one great great granddaughter.
