He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alvin Ewert and Barbara Ewert (Johnson); his grandparents, Ed and Emily Johnson (Gonzer); his wife Jill; his children, David of Fenwick, Timothy (Amie Snapke), Andrew of Lansing, Jacklyn (Bryan Matney) of Ferndale and Patrick of Houston, TX.; his siblings, Robin Telzrow of St. Paul, MN, Lisa Harris (Geoff) of Traverse City and Renee Crampton (Tim) of Traverse City; and his stepfather Richard Bye (Pamela) of Zephyrhills, FL.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Michigan Parkinson's Foundation in memory of David.
