She was predeceased by: her parents, John Winters and Iva Winters (Cross); her husband Lyle Covert; and her siblings, Walter Winters, Ila Aldrich and Arlene Helvie.
She is survived by: her children, Roger Covert (Janet) and Diana Collin; her grandchildren, Greg Covert (Julie), Cynthia Christensen (Bob), Kevin Covert (Michelle), Norris Walls (Stacey) and Heather Pelkey (Bryan); and her sister Joy Stevens. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
