He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Julia; his children, Juro Smilkovich, Cora Lee Smilkovich (Kurt Kohl), Jeannine Marie Bogart and Ryan Tyler; his grandchildren, James, Joslyn, Juliana and Jessica; and his siblings, Pance Smiljkovich, Zora Apostolovich, Zoran Smiljkovski, Cveto Smiljkovski, Vaska Wunsche and Dusanka Mikulski.
