With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Steven Michael Jakubiec (Holly, Michigan), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 31, 2024 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Steven Michael departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Steven Michael may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Steven Michael leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence Jakubiec and Thomas Jakubiec; his brother Kenneth Jakubiec; and his brother-in-law Michael Cairns. He is survived by: his children, Thomas Steven Jakubiec (Raeanna) and Jillian Margaret Jakubiec (Denny); his sister Rosemary Cairns; and his sister-in-law Debbie Jakubiec.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the The Oakley (11035 Fish Lake Rd, Holly, MI 48442).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology), in honor of Steven's memory.
