It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon Ann Leighty of Holly, Michigan, born in Flint, Michigan, who passed away on February 23, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Buterakos and Lucille Buterakos; her significant other Bill Leighty (Billy Hall); and her siblings, Karen Wilhelm, Chrystal Whitcome and Gust Buterakos.
She is survived by: her children, Holly Hobson (Dan) of Fenton, Hope Copeland (Phil) of Fenton and Greg Leighty (Lisa) of Holly; her grandchildren, Grey Hobson, Sawyer Hobson (Kathy) and Drew Hobson; her children, Chase Copeland, Alec Copeland, Blane Copeland, Luke Leighty, Anna Leighty and Michael Leighty; her great grandchildren, Oakley and Paisley Hobson; and her siblings, Susan Spencer, Colleen Firman (Rich), Athena Drury (Terrance) and Markos Buterakos. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
