He was predeceased by: his parents, Hurlburt A. Townley and Effie Townley (Taylor); his former wife Carolyn Townley; and his brother Merlin Townley. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Armstrong; his children, Timothy Townley (Margery) of Oxford, Janine Baldwin (Richard) of Rives Junction, Todd Townley (Joey) of Imlay City, Bruce Townley (Susan) of Shelby Township, Carrie Bolesky (Trent) of Howell, Andrew Carpenter (Geraldine) of Orlando, FL and Liz Boers (Tom) of Grand Blanc; his sister Nancy Henry; and his sister-in-law Louise Townley. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.
