It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Joseph Cardinal (Holly, Michigan), born in Dearborn, Michigan, who passed away on July 19, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Cardinal and Sylvia Cardinal. He is survived by: his wife Sandy Cardinal (City); his children, Robert Joseph Cardinal Jr. (Rachel) and Kyle Joseph Cardinal; his sisters, Carol Gannon and Cynthia Weldon; his aunt Victoria Wolak (Doris); his grandsons, Robert Joseph Cardinal III and Everett Thomas Cardinal; and his pet Jep. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was a member of the American Legion, Vietnam Veterans of American, and Local 412 Dearborn Firefighters.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Local 412 Dearborn Firefighters Burn Drive.He will be laid to his eternal R&R with honors, at the Great Lakes Nation Cemetery in Holly, MI on Thursday the 29th of July at 10am.
