He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall Raymond and Cora Myrtle Dent (Fitzsimmons); his wife Mary Alice Seirmarco; his sister Laura Schulz; and his half-brother Raymond Dent.
He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Durbin (Donald, Jr.) of Burton and Brian Dent (Amy) of Clarkston; his grandchildren, Amber Durbin of Burton, Brandon Dent of Swartz Creek and Sarah McKee of Clarkston; his nephew Josh Schulz (Virginia) of Tennessee; and his niece Melissa Schultz of Tennessee.
