He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Schoenhals and Gwendolyn Schoenhals (Holt); and his brother Tim Schoenhals. He is survived by: his wife Judy (Prose); his children, Kathy Howell (Jason) and Steve Schoenhals; his grandson Tyler Schoenhals; and his sister Mary Jean Pierce.
