She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Wilhelm Gerski and Auguste Gerski (Lipka); her sons, Michael Schwiuntek (Angie) and Brian Schwiuntek (Kari); her grandchildren, Aimee, Mike Jr., Kirstie and Brenden; and her husband Heinz. She was also cherished by several great-grandchildren and a sister.

Those desiring may make contributions to Great Lakes National Cemetery or the American Cancer Society.
