Larry L. Binkley Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry L. Binkley of Holly, Michigan, born in Piggott, Arkansas, who passed away on March 16, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James L. Binkley and Virgilee Binkley (Book); his daughter Angela L. Binkley-Burk; his parents-in-law, Conrad E. Hanson and Emelia O. Sand-Hanson; his siblings, Denise "Dee Dee" Galonska and James "Mike" Binkley; and his close friend Pete Thayer.
He is survived by: his wife Claudia Binkley; his children, Jessica Duvernois (Corey) and Jason Binkley; his grandchildren, Chelsea Philpot (Clay), Brion Binkley, Steven Binkley, Jacqui Southerland (Mike), Ashley Burk and Lindsy Burk; his great grandchildren, Elijah, Taylor and Piper; his sisters, Sue Smitley (Phil) and Melba Wilson; and his in-laws, Mike Galonska, Terri Binkley, Victor Hanson (Pam) and Richard Hanson (Ray "Swanie" Swanson). He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (1025 Main St, Fenton, MI 48430-2174). A burial will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at the Lakeside Cemetery (860 Thomas St, Holly, MI 48442).
In "Lieu of Flowers" the family asks donations be made to United Veterans of Michigan by making checks payable to "United Veterans of Michigan".
