He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter MacShane and Christine MacShane; and his sister Maureen (Denise). He is survived by: his siblings, Dan (Anne) and Jean Wloszek (Ed); and his nieces and nephews, Dan Jr. (Jackie), Tim (Alisa), Brian (Cassie), Julie (Jason Williams), James, Joe (Meredith), Steve (Carrah), Paul (Kate), Scott (Andrea) and Beth (Jeff Ulrich).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Rita Catholic Church (309 E Maple St, Holly, MI 48442). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations can be made to the Sisters of Providence at St. Mary of the Woods College in memory of John's aunt, Sister Maureen Cecile, SP. (3301 St. Marys Rd. West Terre Haute, IN 47885).
