He was predeceased by: his parents, John Joseph Sr. and Elsie Pavelec (Ferguson); and his brother Michael. He is survived by: his wife Susan J. Beard of Holly; his sons, Jeffrey Pavelec (Debra) of Kansas City and Adam Pavelec of Cleveland, Ohio; his granddaughter Brianna Pavelec of Columbus, Ohio.; and his sister Pamela Fellner (Tom) of Galion.
