It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John E. Ley of Holly, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on October 14, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Sally Kay Ley (Streby); his parents, Bud Ley and Lena Ley (Lee) of Michigamme; and his in-laws, Martin and Kathryn Streby (Clay).
He is survived by: his sons, Bob Ley of Fenton and John Martin Ley of Dallas; his siblings-in-law, Bill Streby, Jane Nettesheim of Emerald City, Kimberlee J. Streby and Michael Streby of Wausau; and his niece Angela Laskowski (Streby). He is also survived by his wife, parents, and many friends.
