He is survived by: his son Justin Tryles (Carol) of Holly; his grandchildren, Savannah Gardner (Sean) of Grand Blanc, Jason Terzich (Kendra) of Grand Blanc, Kathryn Holloway of Tennessee, Justin Terzich of Davison and Mallory Terzich of Goodrich; his great grandchildren, Jameson, Theodore and Levi; and his siblings, Fred Tryles (Sandy) of Fenton, Leon Tryles (Shelley) of Oxford and Lois Zajac (Jim) of Waterford. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations in James' name may be made to the St. Jude Children's Hospital in honor of his daughter Angela.
