He is survived by: his father Dale H. Modders; his stepson Jimmy Morrow (Sara); his sisters, Cathy Modders and Deanna McDowell; and his stepsiblings, Cathy Jagos, Fran Schmuck, Mary Link, Louie Helms, Mike Helms, Mark Helms and Tim Helms.

A committal service will be held on Tuesday, October 22nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Great Lakes National Cemetery (4200 Belford Rd, Holly, MI 48442). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 22nd 2024 at the same location.
