He was predeceased by: his sister-in-law Thelma Cordes. He is survived by: his spouse Chun; his children, Norman Cordes (Kathy), Cynthia Johnson (Ryan) and Carey Cordes-McPherson (Matt); his grandchildren, Rob and Faith; and his siblings, Denise Boik (Emil) and Rodney Cordes (Missy).
