We are sad to announce that on December 8, 2021, at the age of 92, Doris A. Shoemaker (Holly, Michigan), born in Lowell, Michigan passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Doris A. Shoemaker to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Dawson and Vera Dawson (Hicks); her husband Tom Shoemaker; her children, Greg Shoemaker and Tracy Brewer (Bryant); her stepfather Paul Woodard; and her siblings, LeRoy, Melvin, Erwin Woodard, Peggy Grudenich and Barbara Brandon.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Shoemaker (Sharnell Merkling), Krysten Abbe (Brian) and Rita Kaiser (Jim); and her brother Paul Woodard (Liz). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren, two sisters.
In lieu of flowers those wishing an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Hospice of Michigan, Alpena so the family can make a donation in Doris's honor.
