It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daryl Keith Egeland (Holly, Michigan), born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on August 24, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Tyler Egeland and Grace Tillotson Egeland; and his brother Robert Egeland. He is survived by: his wife Gayann Brook; his children, Eric Egeland (Dorie), Karyn Egeland (Bill DeLorenzo), Kris Lyng (Bryan) and Loren Egeland (Lauren); his grandchildren, Hailey Matesic, Mackenzie Lawson, Matthew Lyng and Salem Egeland; his great grandchildren, Harper and Ava; and his former wife Ellie Williams. He is also survived by his family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made in Daryl's name to the Alzheimer's Association, reflecting his caring nature and concern for others.
