He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Pattengill and Neta Pattengill (Cushing). He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Lee Marier; his children, Dan Pattengill, Jr. (Maria), Scott Marier (Lisa) and Sharon Marier; his grandchildren, Marshall Pattengill, Mason Pattengill, Zachary Marier, Mitchell Marier, Allison Marier, Ryan Rubelman and Michael Grinnell; his great grandchild Max Rubelman; and his siblings, Jerry Pattengill, Ruth Adams and Karen Williams.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:20 PM at the Great Lakes National Cemetery (4200 Belford Rd, Holly, MI 48442).
