She was predeceased by: her parents, Alonzo Talovich and Wyllis Talovich (Blair); her daughter Beth Lasher; her parents-in-law, Alfred and Dorothy Kangas; her siblings, Helen Kingery and Mel Talovich; her siblings-in-law, Carol Talovich, Victor Kingery III and Jack Schenk; her niece Kaylynn Kingery; and her nephew Jeffrey Kingery.

She is survived by: her husband Richard Evert Alfred Kangas; her daughters, Alison Doane (John), Angela Weaver (Scott) and Heather Steggall (Chris); her son-in-law Tony Lasher (Lisi Decampos); her grandchildren, Alison Doane (Tim Brash), Brad Doane (Catherine Noonan), Joe Weaver (Kaitlyn Shariak), Emily Doane, Jacob Lasher, Sean Steggall and Marcus Steggall; her great grandchildren, Joey Weaver, Jr. and Zachary Wood; and her siblings, Joyce Archibald (Charles) and Wyllis Schenk. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
