He was predeceased by: his sister Sandy Elzinga; and his brothers-in-law, Chuck Elzinga and Stu Post. He is survived by: his wife Margo (Woltman); his children, Laurie Honor, Kristine, Stu Solomon, Mark and Diane Vander Berg; his grandchildren, Tina Michmerhuizen (Phil), Alesha Dewit (Tim), Sarah Smith (Tim), Daniel Vander Berg (Anna), Nicholas Byrd (Daniel) and Andrea Thielke (Tim); his sister Phyllis Heerspink (Flip); and his in-laws, Dee Post, Rich Woltman (Bev), Roger Woltman (Bev) and Linda Gonzales (Art). He is also survived by 12 Great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Langeland-Sterenberg Funeral Home (315 E 16th St, Holland, MI 49423). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Fourteenth Street Christian Reformed Church (14 W 14th St, Holland, MI 49423).
