He was predeceased by: his daughter Cheryl Ann Dykstra; his granddaughter Marissa Kronemeyer; his brothers, Neil Dykstra, Paul Dykstra (Carol), David Dykstra and Jim Dykstra; and his brothers-in-law, Clifford Boerman, Bruce Boerman (Betty), Norman Fynewever and Al Ayotte.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Dykstra; his children, Mary Scholten (David), Tom Dykstra (Annette), Sharon Resseguie (Jeff), Mark Dykstra (Sally), Jane Lemmen (Mike) and Nancy Kronemeyer Many (Harald); his brother Philip Dykstra (Barbara); and his siblings-in-law, Paul Boerman (Hilda), Donna Huber (John), Shelby Ayotte, Joyce Dykstra and Karen Dykstra Many. He is also survived by Many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
