He is survived by: his wife Sara; his daughter Bethany VanKampen (Joseph Hudson); his stepsons, Daniel Madrigal (Jordan), Eric Madrigal and David Madrigal; his grandchildren, Wynter, Lexi, Rilya, Sateara, Mason, Miss Aaliyah, Eric Jr., DJ, Juju and Princess Adriana; his stepmother Linda VanKampen; his siblings, Jay Rastetter, Bruce VanKampen (Suzette), Nanci Lubinski (Mike), Steve Numikoski (Vanessa), Edk Sloan (John) and Stephanie Trapp (Gary); and his siblings-in-law, Mary Arocha (Marcel), Irene Chapa, Melissa Rodriguez and Raymond Jr. Quintero (Linda). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at 781 Lincoln Ave, Holland, MI 49423. A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the VanKampen family for funeral expenses.
