He was predeceased by: his brother-in-law Robert Kleis. He is survived by: his wife Jane McCarty; his daughters, Jessica (Matthew Frost) and Stephanie McCarty; his grandchildren, Jaydyn, Deacon, Savannah and Isabella; his sisters, Diane Balcezak and Peggy McCarty; and his siblings-in-law, Sheryl (Robert DeRuiter), Steve (Patricia Kleis) and Deb Kleis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Fellowship Reformed Church-Holland (2165 W Lakewood Blvd, Holland, MI 49424). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
