He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Martin Batts and Anne Batts; his wife Deb Batts (Locke); his children, Rachel Bouwman (Jack) and Kyle Batts (Nita); his grandchildren, Jace, Tripp, Maddax and Hudson; his siblings, Mike (Diane), Tim Batts (Brenda), Marcy Brower (Curt) and Amy Cashen; his in-laws, Robert and Carol Locke; and his sisters-in-law, Wendy Ahearne (Brian) and Sandy Mulder (Joel).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in Wes's honor to the Glioblastoma Foundation to continue the work fighting this awful cancer.
