He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Vandenbrink and Louise Vandenbrink; his brother Dale (Marian Vandenbrink); his brother-in-law David Osterhaven; and his wife Karen.
He is survived by: his children, Terry (Kelly Vandenbrink) and Lisa (Jim Speelman); his grandchildren, Katie Vandenbrink, Nick Vandenbrink, Ethan Speelman, Carter Speelman and Aleah Speelman; his great grandchild Genevieve; and his siblings, Don (Joy Vandenbrink) and Jean Osterhaven.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lakeshore Memorial (11939 James St, Holland, MI 49424). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
He spent a great deal of time creating in his workshop and shared his gift with not only his children and grandchildren but also with children from his lifelong church Calvin CRC (now the Foundation Church).
