As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Vernon Jay Vander may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lubert Zwaag and Henrietta Vander Zwaag. He is survived by: his wife Glynda Vannette; his children, Cherie Boetsma (Terry), Cathy Schut (Terry), Shelly Lubbers (Matt) and Brian Vander Zwaag (Sonya); and his siblings, Linda Lemmen, Ruth Kammeraad and Randy Vander Zwaag (Mary). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren, many in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
