We are sad to announce that on April 28, 2024, Stephen J. Mauger of Holland, Michigan, born in Decatur, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Stephen farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Stephen is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his brother Daniel Mauger; and his father-in-law Richard Zylstra. He is survived by: his father Theodore Fitch Mauger; his wife Elizabeth Mauger; his children, Emily Brownley (Casey), Daniel Mauger and Theodore Mauger; his mother Penny Mauger; and his brother David Mauger (Betsy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
